Appointment Cancellation


The professional staff at Wen’ells Therapeutics has a long-standing history of creditability and dedicated service to their clients, both in the community of Maroochydore and Australia Wide. 

 

Wen’ells Therapeutics clinic is well presented and portrays an environment that is friendly, relaxing and inviting.  This in turn compliments the specialised massage, clay, beauty, & rehabilitative treatments formulated to treat the whole person – mind, body, & soul.

 

It is because of the professional-specialised services offered for people of all age groups, that we have a large number of clients with regular bookings (often made up to 6 or 12 months in advance), as well as an extended WAITING LIST of people who NEED to have some form of therapy. The staff endeavors to arrange an appointment as soon as possible, but sometimes, due to the number of pre-booked appointments, people may have to wait SEVERAL WEEKS to get an appropriate time for them.

 

UNFORTUNATELY there has been a substantial number of people who have either “FORGOTTEN” to come for their appointment or “CANCELLED” at short notice, which causes a great deal of inconvenience to your therapist as well as others.

 

Therefore, out of respect for the therapists, and the extended hours they work to ensure people receive the specialised services offered, as well as respect for the other people in the community who are trying to get an appointment time, we have no option but to charge a “CANCELLATION FEE” on “forgotten” or “cancelled” appointments (less than 24 hours notice, ”exceptional circumstances” excluded).

 

FIRST TIME CANCELLATION FEE – 50% of the total cost of your appointment. SECOND TIME & SUBSEQUENT MISSED APPOINTMENTS WILL INCUR 100% FEE! THIS WILL BE CHARGED ON NEXT APPOINTMENT OR BILLED TO YOU.

 

The staff at Wen’ells understands that we are all “HUMAN” and can occasionally forget things or life circumstances change. Therefore it is vital that you ensure your appointment card is situated in a visible location, as well as the date and time documented in your diary or on the calendar. Due to the large number of clientele & our schedules, the “Reminder Call System” would not be appropriate. It is with this in mind that we encourage you to PLEASE work with us to attempt to avoid any unnecessary expense or inconvenience to all involved.
